We tend to be choosy with our festivals and you won't find us on the full festival circuit. I love a great theme party and I tend to avoid heavy crowds, but these are the festivals we return to year after year!
The Undead of Winter is 2 day annual "Bloody Valentine" vampire themed festival. It features a Dark Arts & Oddities Market, A Dance Party and Fashion Show, Lavish Feasting Table, Champagne Lounge, and The Masquerade- an evening of performance art including fire breathers, sword dancers, hoopers, silks, live music, and burlesque.
There is a mandatory minimum dress code of black to ensure the ambience and this is truly an immersive experience
This is one of the newest steampunk festivals in the scene and growing fast. It features steampunk vendors, panels, workshops, performers, and of course they pour the tea! I find this smaller festival more thoughtfully balanced than others while going hard on theme and thinking of both their artists and their audience. The Tea-totaler couple from The Intentional Butterknife Meandering Cafe is my favorite part of any steampunk festival
After a devastating "Faenado" in 2024, the fae dusted themselves off and kept the magic flowing. Currently a single day event, the fun for children of all ages truly sparkles at this event with pirate seafoam parties, kinetic shaved ice wheel, animals for petting, stiltwalkers, bubbles, and performers that delight the young and old alike.
A true fixture in the festival world, ours is constantly growing and evolving (as any good renaissance does). The cast never break character and the vendors dress the part while flaming sword fights, screaming falcons, and comedic talent fill the day. With plenty to eat and possibly THE widest variety of vendors in the state, it's a delightful escape from the modern age.
This annual event features a 6 course wine and food pairing meandering through a vintage farm estate. In each room there's a bite and a glass- and you get the recipe card to keep- alongside small local artisan goods. The event finishes at The Barn at 507, teeming with vendors, live music, and (if you're lucky) maybe even a baby goat.
